An old Polaroid camera used to take passport photos. I’m tempted, but at 20,000 Naira… Might see if I can find paper for it at the market and if the seller will let me take it for a spin.

When my brother and I were kids and spent the summers in Tel Aviv, we loved this craft activity where you put these colored plastic beads on a peg board in different patterns and shapes and ironed them to make coasters. Years later, a few left over beads remain in this little jade box on the coffee table in my grandmother’s living room. Every time I come back here, I know they will still be here in this little jade box. #holdingmorning
